The Rajkot Municipal Corporation has launched its largest-ever mega demolition drive in Rajkot.
Out of 1,500 identified houses, 1,119 were demolished on Day 1, with the remaining structures set to be cleared today.
The area was divided into 7 zones for smooth execution of the operation. Class-1 officers and technical teams were deployed, supported by more than 260 machines, including JCBs, tractors, breakers, and dumpers.
Authorities stated that the large-scale operation is being carried out in a planned and coordinated manner.
