Caucasus Crossing is a three part series of my 900km solo bikepacking journey through Caucasus Mountains in Georgia.
Episode 1 takes us north from Tbilisi all the way to Chechen border zone. Two full days of hike-a-bike and a stormy night at altitude finally takes me to snowy Atsunta Pass, one of the two passes leading to isolated Tusheti Valley.
In Episode 2 ( • BIKEPACKING TUSHETI VALLEY: Caucasus Cross... ) we explore the remote Tusheti Valley while battling with lack of food. Episode 3 takes us to Lesser Caucasus and exposes my worrying symptoms of deep exhaustion accumulated over the journey.
