A new AI tool called Lumi Story is giving Prince George’s County students a creative way to learn and tell their own stories. The platform—created by former NFL quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick—launched at Largo High School, helping students draft stories, build characters, and even produce graphic novels.
Students say the app is already inspiring them to think about future careers and creative possibilities. County leaders say this tool helps ensure every student has an opportunity to succeed, no matter their background.
PGCPS plans to expand Lumi Story across more schools, with 10 already using the tool.
