ESC is an safety function in automobile. It is named as ESP,DSC, ATC etcc by different brands. It helps to maintain stability of the vehicle during the course of loosing stability. ESC stands for Electronic Stability Control. ESP stands for electronic stability program. DSC stands for dynamic stability control and Atc stands for Advanced traction control.
ESC also reduces engine output when required
