To ferry or to fly?😅🙃✈️⛴️

Описание: That is the question!!

While many of the major Greek Islands in the Cyclades chain (like Santorini, Mykonos, Milos, etc) all have airports, there are no direct flights between them😩

This means you have to connect in Athens for any of these inter-island flights ✈️

Which adds time to the journey!

For this reason, we chose to take the ferry from Santorini to Milos (also because it was a bit cheaper!)

However, our ferry ended up getting delayed several hours, which meant we were just sitting at the Santorini ferry port instead of out exploring 😭

Delays during the summer are very common thanks to the Meltemi winds that cause large swells!

So, if you choose the ferry route, make sure to pack your seasickness medicine 💊🤢

Once we were on the ferry, we had a great experience (including watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants👖🤪) and it was a quick journey!

After arriving on Milos, we took a private transfer to our hotel and had the ATV company drop our ATV off at the hotel (because we couldn’t haul our gaunt suitcases on the ATV🤣)
