The restoration begins with full disassembly — interior removed, drivetrain extracted, suspension stripped, and every component cataloged.
The 13B-REW rotary engine is completely disassembled and rebuilt with new seals, bearings, apex components, and refreshed twin turbochargers. Cooling systems, fuel lines, and ignition components are restored to factory specification. The transmission and differential are serviced to ensure long-term reliability.
The chassis undergoes corrosion treatment and structural inspection before suspension, steering, and braking systems are fully rebuilt. Body panels are repaired, aligned, and prepared through repeated sanding and primer cycles before receiving a deep Sunburst Yellow finish with multi-layer clear coat and precision polishing.
The interior is restored to period-correct configuration, preserving the authentic 1990s FD atmosphere.
