• Due to implementation of the New education Policy three classes prior to First standard are brought under the CEA and Hostel Subsidy.
• This has given effect for the academic year 2023-24 onwards.
• Since the NEP has given effect from the academic year 2022-23 and entry age of first standard has been revised as six years this has to be implemented from the same academic year.
• JCM Staff side wrote to DOPT on 12.4.2024 requesting to amend the implementation date as 2022-23 academic year onwards.
• This demand is genuine and this should be considered.
