Today’s episode explores a part of the arid Cape Fold mountains that features the largest granite formation in the southern hemisphere. It reaches down several kilometres under ground and is surrounded by an extremely fragile and rare ecosystem of fynbos. It was in this landscape that I was determined to find a waterfall I had only seen an image of online four years prior. It would take me two visits to find a map, and a further two visits to create images that I was truly happy with.
