Hey agents! Welcome or welcome back to another Division 2 build video. The cherry blossom event is here, and it's never been a better time to set up something powerful to fly through endgame content with. In this video, I'm excited to showcase three EXTREMELY viable Solo DPS builds for PVE. These are effective and will work well for Year 8 Season 1 "Rise up." So if you need something reliable for bounties, control points, retaliation, or even the new escalation mode, then look no further. These PVE builds will also hold up very well in legendary strongholds as well.

The first build on this list utilizes the new Core Strength gearset, which is essentially designed for hybrid builds. This build focuses on maximizing high weapon damage while offering amazing healing. So there's a nice balance of both survivability and DPS. With Core Strength, for every core attribute that you have equipped, you also gain 40% of the other two core bonuses. So say you're running mostly red cores for weapon damage. That will normally make you hit hard, right? But you are basically a glass cannon, so you have no survivability whatsoever. Now with Core Strength, this all changes. Each of those red cores is also giving you 40% armor, and 15% skill efficiency. So you now have more armor and skill power. This makes Core Strength the ultimate gearset for setting up some very powerful hybrid PVE builds In The Division 2.

So for the primary weapon, I'm actually running the police M4 since it's very basic and beginner-friendly, but ideally, you'd want to go with the Capacitor. In the Division 2, The Capacitor is a really great weapon in general, but it also pairs very well with Core Strength. For the talent, I'm running flatline, and flatline will grant you 15% amplified weapon damage to pulsed enemies. For weapon alternatives, you can either go with the carbine seven, honey badger, or even the Lexington if you have one. These weapons all have similar stats, so they make excellent alternatives. You get the Core exercise talent for having a full 4-piece set.

Now when it comes down to getting the job done, and melting NPCs on The Division 2 as fast as possible, this next Solo PVE Build is where things truly shine. This is your classic four-piece striker's battlegear setup, and it brings insane damage with solid survivability. Striker is easily one of the strongest gearsets in the Division 2 when it comes to raw DPS. And the best part is that it pairs well with almost any weapon. So this is great news if you're a beginner or returning player. For the weapons, I'm, running the Carbine seven and the Chameleon with this build. This build is also viable for legendary difficulty content. But the great thing about Striker is that it will grant your agent weapon handling and rate of fire for 3 pieces. And with 4 pieces, you get the Striker's gamble talent, which is where the real damage starts stacking up. This talent is what makes Striker the powerhouse that it is. With Striker's gamble, weapon hits will increase your total weapon damage by 0.65% per shot, stacking up to 100 times.

The final build on this list is a super basic 4-piece Heartbreaker build. And for this, I'm also running the Heartbreaker vest. So if you're new, just know that Heartbreaker is very similar to striker, since you will also need to build stacks to see great results. So with 4 pieces, you get 15% assault rifle damage and weapon handling. As well as the talent, Heartstopper. So with Heartstopper, you can only build stacks on enemies that have been pulsed. And so weapon hits on pulsed enemies will add a stack of 1% bonus armor and 1.1% weapon damage. However this only applies to pulsed enemies. This is why I highly recommend running Heartbreaker with the linked laser pointer attachment from the technician specialization tree. It will make your life easier. Also, it helps to run the ACS 12 shotgun, even better is the named ACS 12 model called the Rock N' Roll. In The Division 2, this named ACS 12 comes with the perfectly extra talent, which is very helpful as it will extend your magazine size.
