Dr Emma Beddowes, Dr Christopher Smith and Professor James Brenton talk about circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA): what it is and how it is currently used to help assess or determine a patient’s treatment, how it integrates as a data pipeline to contribute to personalised treatment for a patient, and how its use might develop in the future.

Christopher is a Senior Research Associate specialising in cancer genetics and circulating tumour DNA analysis at the University of Cambridge, UK.
James is Professor of Ovarian Cancer Medicine at the University of Cambridge, UK, Academic Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology (Ovarian) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, co-leader of the CRUK Cambridge Centre’s Ovarian Cancer Programme, and co-leader of the Integrated Cancer Medicine Programme.
