This is the story of Jeddah Tower: a project halted for seven years, written off as impossible, and now rising again.
From wind-defying architecture and ultra-high-performance concrete, to carbon-fibre elevator cables and a foundation designed to anchor a vertical city — Jeddah Tower pushes engineering to its absolute limits.
Construction resumed in 2025.
If completed by 2028, this megatall skyscraper won’t just surpass the Burj Khalifa — it will mark the moment humanity crossed the kilometre mark.
