Pruning Technique
Part 2: Branch and Leader Maintenance in M9.
Branch should be with few buds for next year. Rest buds should be renewed for next to next year.
Circle Cut 50% of new growth.
Leader should be kept free from buds and thick branches. Little click should be given to the branches close to top. 50% Cut initiates double growth so that it reaches the top wire quickly along with sufficient number of branches. If Leader is already on top then Cut the Leader on weak shoot to control.
