Site at Mysore - Nanjangud is a fascinating one, for its natural gentle slope, by a stream from West to East connecting the two sites with a culvert, is a Designer’s dream to maneuver the open and built forms along the water body.

Design Philosophy…
Site overlooking the Chamundeshwari Betta is an ideal backdrop for a LEED certificate for the Campus, which is blessed with abundant nature’s storyline.
 
Stadium was designed in the center of the site as a lung space and a visual treat for all the built forms around, while allowing the stream to be undisturbed and connected as a rain water drain to be collected at the pond for reuse, with interactive spaces across the stream.
 
Propose to have the main entrance for the both School and University through the designated road of KIADB, which is sparingly used by the villagers. The connectivity between the School and University binds the two land parcels by a modernistic structure, conveying the technological innovation that RV proposes to carry by its extended arm of research and brings in the sense of growth, as was the case of the famed Architect Mies Van Der Rohe, who heralded modernism in its built forms at Chicago.
 
Academic Blocks have been designed around the stadium, with its inbuilt pavilion and allowing most of the north-light. The hostel and accommodation facilities for faculty have been designed towards the West and South-West corner, with an additional external entrance all facing the stadium. We got back memories of yesteryear of watching movies, ted talk or presentation under the night sky across the mounds of grass to enjoy the drive-in theatre experience of the past.
 
The School proposed for a future date with the view of the Hills facing North is picture perfect for an Institution of learning, specific to the young minds.
A setback of 16M with a road and footpath of 11.4M is proposed around the main University Campus as a peripheral road, which helps movement.

Infirmary of 30 beds is proposed considering the capacity of the students.
