Benton MacKaye Trail NOBO Thru-Hike 2019 Day 1 (Springer Mt to Toccoa Suspension Bridge )

Описание: On March 9,2019 I began my NOBO thru-hike of the 290 mile Benton MacKaye Trail. The BMT southern terminus is located at Springer Mt, GA. It weaves its way through the Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina mountains as it makes its way into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where it ends at its northern terminus at the Baxter Creek Trailhead in the Big Creek area of GSMNP. The plan was to solo hike it in under 20 days and only make 3 resupply stops.
