The simple visible mending with slow stitching

I really enjoy the process of mending and using the mended items. Visible mending turns them into something new or adds a new character to them. If you have some old shirts or old tea towels which you haven't been using but you haven't been able to thrown away either, why not mend them and extend their life?

One correction, At 04:21, I said "you can stitch either horizontally or diagonally", but I meant "horizontally or vertically." I'm sure you can stitch vertically but I wanted to stitch along the weave.
