Hill Walks in Cumbria

Описание: I have put this video on my channel with the permission of Phil who took all the photographs and hope you like it as a change from my Scotland videos I have been putting on these last few months.
Phil, a close family member lives with his wife in the south of England and in his spare time enjoys sailing and hill walking. He is also a keen photographer and in his spare time he often goes hill walking so his Olympus camera goes with him and quite often Toby the dog tags on.
Back in 2020 Phil and his wife stayed in a holiday cottage in Cumbria at the end of October for three to four weeks until mid November. He went hill walking at least every other day but Toby skipped the odd walk as he is getting quite old now. Then around Christmas 2020 Phil sent me the photos of his hill walks and I thought they were wonderful. My husband and I used to go to Cumbria most years but usually in Spring and not being a hill walker I never saw views like these. Just after receiving the photos I put them together as short movie and saved it on DVD for me to keep. I was hoping Phil would put the video on YouTube but he says he hasn’t had the time. However, he said he has no objection to me putting this video on my channel. So here it is and I hope you enjoy seeing these photos taken in the Lake District once you get away from the maddening crowds and main tourist spots.
