After spending barely 55 minutes of anticipates waiting on Tracks No. 3 and 4, a 6-car Tobu 100 series EMU, which would operate as the Limited Express "Spacia Kegon" No. 17 bound for Tobu Nikko, finally entered Asakusa Station at 10.17 a.m. on Track No. 3. Once the train doors were opened, I promptly boarded the train via Car No. 2, which was one of the reserved seating cars, and settled into my allocated Seat No. 6D for the routine morning trip of 1 hour 51 minutes towards the small sparsely-populated mountainous city of Nikko located in the northern highlands of Tochigi Prefecture.
