Is it possible to fit a more modern Saab NG9-5 Cluster in a Saab 9-3 ?
The answer is YES with a gateway module that we are working on. It will work on NG9-3 2003-2006. On the 2003-2006 all warning messages are still intact on the original SID near the windscreen, and all telltales in the original cluster will be implemented and working in the new cluster.
Later on i will think about the newer 9-3, but its much harder to fit on the 2007- since the the original cluster needs to be dissassemble and hidden behind the dashpanel, otherwise the car wont have turn indicator sound, park assist sound, all configurations in the built in SID wont work, the Ip-switch panel with Night panel etc wont work.. Especially a lot more (all) warning messages must be implemented in the gateway, and some might not be possible since the NG9-5 cant handle convertible warnings etc).
