Improved Model Railway Vacuum Ballasting System

Описание: In this video I revisit my vacuum ballasting accessory and show its development.
This timesaving tool is of real benefit when there are large sections of track to be ballasted. The device works too for other scatter materials such as flocks and static grass and avoids the need for using stocking material stretched over the vacuum pipe – a trick well known to many modellers I am sure.
The system presented here uses a couple of bought-in components which push the overall price of the device up sadly. However, they in themselves offer the keen modeller additional utility and so I think may present good value purchases considering their wider utility.

The vacuum head itself I have reduced onto a simple laser cut fret, and if there is sufficient interest, I will get a batch laser-cut, and will offer these for sale. (price subject to confirmation in my next video)
If anyone is interested in purchasing the vacuum head from me, then do please let me know via the comments and when I have an idea of the numbers required I will obtain quotes for having them cut and shipped and will keep everyone updated in my next video. When I know rough numbers I should be able to fix a price.

This was the cheapest I could find on amazon, I’m certain mine was cheaper than this so it may be worth checking ebay etc. for a better deal.
