Описание: THis is an outreach video project that I produced from a repeat photography research project at Kenai Fjords National Park in the early 2000's. I traveled the coastline with glaciologist Bruce Molnia of the US Geological Survey over the course of three or four summers. We re-shot photos that were taken in 1909 from as close to the exact same location and angle as we could get. The original photos from 1909 were taken by geologists U.S. Grant and D.F. Higgins. the work revealed that most all of the glaciers had receded or lost significant mass by the beginning of the 21st century when compared with the warly 20th century.
