Protein Crystallisation - Fabrice Gorrec

Описание: The LMB Crystallisation Facility aids LMB scientists to obtain high quality crystals of purified protein, DNA, RNA, small molecules or any combination thereof for structural biology. Users are able to screen a broad range of initial crystallisation conditions using automated protocol using robots to dispense in pre-made MRC plates. Following initial screening there are several optimisation protocols to aid success.

In this video Fabrice gives background and theory to crystallisation and then details the processes involved in project success including: obtaining more optimal protein samples, setting up the crystallisation experiment; initial screening; assessment of experiments and optimisation protocols and tips.
