RENO Taunt Warrior? Has Science Gone Too Far?

XL Reno Taunt Quest Warrior | Wild Hearthstone | Warrior Deck

SUMMARY:
The goal of this annoying control deck is very simple, much like Trump we are going to build a wall (of Taunts) and force our opponents to be miserable. We've taken Reno Warrior and essentially just made it way worse but we very easily deal psychic damage to our opponent by playing Fire Plume's Heart on turn 1. To accomplish this goal of playing Taunts we're running a lot of Taunt minions. Who coulda thunk it. Dirty Rat, Unlucky Powderman, Tortollan Traveler, Detonation Juggernaut, Igneous Lavagorger (for the 100 armor jackpot), Saronite Chain Gang, Armagedillo, Hamm the Hungry, Velen Leader of the Exiled, and Unkilliax make up the taunts in the deck, all of which have some sort of upside from being played or some sort of synergy with the rest of the other taunt minions. Beyond just having Taunt minions, we also run a bit of disruption in the form of Disruptive Spellbreaker, Bob the Bartender, Theotar the Mad Duke, and even Boomboss Tho'Grun (best card ever made btw). The only spells in our deck either synergize with buffing up our Taunt minions or are general staples of Warrior / high value cards such as Dead Man's Hand, Corsair Cache (for Bulwark of Azzinoth), Minefield, Bladestorm, Quality Assurance, Bellowing Flames, All You Can Eat, New Heights, Aftershocks, Brawl, Sleep Under the Stars, and Hydration Station to resurrect our Unkilliax, another Velen, and either Armagedillo or Hamm the Hungry. Since we're a Highlander deck this time around our winrate has improved since we also get access to some of the best cards in one of the most long-supported packages in the game such as Zephrys the Great, Reno Jackson, Deepminer Brann, and Reno Lone Ranger. Since we're also a Highlander deck this allows us to win games through other methods than just Fire Plume's Heart, such as Astalor Bloodsworn. Overall this deck is very bad but very fun and I would certainly not recommend you to waste your dust on it unless you're super cool.
