Описание: Not too long ago I archived a game called Garten of Banban the Dark Loop and in this game there was a reference to another one called Spite of Spirits. These are both fangames made in the Playstation 5 game Dreams and today I decided to find out how Spite of Spirits was.
This fangame is a reimagination of the first Garten of Banban game and adds a few twists and turns in the mix. The game looks great and atmospheric and actually might look better than the original game. There is also a neat mechanic where you can control your drone in first person. This was added in later chapters of Garten of Banban, but it makes sense to aleady have this for the first chapter. Maybe someday we can expect an official remaster with this gameplay implemented.
The mascots themselves also have a new look and they look very creepy and beautifully detailed. Some scares were really effective and the chase sequence also had a few surprises.
If this game ever would get another patch I do think the volume of the audio tapes needs to be louder and there was unfortunately a bug where the drone got stuck behind a mascot and I was not able to complete a puzzle. When reloading the checkpoint it actually sent me forward to when the puzzle would have already been completed.
