This is a short live performance built around felt instruments Lekko and slow-moving loops.
Lekko and Slate & Ash Landforms form the core of the piece, with Choreographs adding a bit of decoration. The Landforms strings are looped and fed through Valhalla Supermassive, creating a Frippertronics-style wash that gradually thickens and unravels as the piece unfolds.
The piece is allowed to take its time, with repetition doing most of the work. Small shifts in timing and texture build up naturally, without forcing the structure in any particular direction.
Best listened to on headphones.
