Today we are going to do a little experiment. We are going to make arepas and compare and contrast texture, moisture level and flavor with various ingredient swaps. Do you use water? Do you use milk? Salted or un salted butter? Butter in the masa or on top? we will determine it all.
Then we will compare and contrast it all to get the most flavorful, most textures and most tender arepa possible.
We will be doing 4 different versions.
The first version in this video is as follows:
2 Cups Harina P.A.N
2 Cups + 2 tbsp warm Milk
4 Tbsp melted unsalted Butter
Salt
