Описание: Welcome to this months new video everybody! This is my first video of arriving at Gatwick Airport, and i am very pleased to have recorded it on such a lovely day, no rain and fog, just a lovely scene to be a part of.

Gatwick landing audio

"Welcome everyone to this new video, we prepare to land at one of the UK’s busiest airports – Gatwick. Situated just 30 miles south of Central London, Gatwick Airport handles over 46 million passengers annually, serving as a key hub for both domestic and international travel. Swiss serves Gatwick with the a320 and a220, 75 minute flight from Zurich.

As we descend, you’ll notice the stunning views of the English countryside, gradually giving way to the bustling runways of Gatwick. With its two terminals and a dual runway operation at near capacity, Gatwick is a marvel of modern aviation efficiency.

We will now have a closer look at the Arrival charts at Gatwick, provided by our friends from Lufthansa Systems.
Landing today is from the west, runway 08R is active. We are assigned the KUNAV 1G RNAV Star arrival, via waypoints KUNAV, AMGUT and TIMBA and then downwind 08R to the base of the approach where we will intercept the ILS.

The lighting on this approach was really especially beautiful, I’m glad I could capture this for you all.
Some infos for you all while we cloud surf towards our waypoint AMGUT, loads of exciting things happening at Swiss currently. The brand new service branded “Swiss senses” will start very soon, we are all preparing and eagerly awaiting our first ever Airbus a350 at the end of September this year. I already have my 350 rating in the bag, passed the tests and I am ready for this new chapter and next generation airliner.

Now, sit back, get a bag of chips or some cookies and relax for the approach and landing, il report back after landing.
