Golra Station is the oldest operational railway station in Sub-Continent located in Islamabad Pakistan . This railway station is in operation since 1886, and built by British company . Peepal trees grown on station are around 150 years old .
This station is full of railway history the guide gave us tour of oldest steam engine, Jodhpur Rani's personal coach . The most amazing one is the Salon coach of Quid-E Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah's personal coach on which he use to travel . In his coach every thing was preserved and maintained from last 80 years .
The surrounds were amazing full of history ,and it is not even far from Islamabad .
