Описание: I decided to do a video on how re-powered my Alco FA2. Since a large portion of the frame needed to be removed I decided to film and go over everything. Again I'm using a donor Stewart/Kato F3A drive for this project. It took a bit of time to mill and cut out the sections of the frame that I mentioned in the video but once it was done I reassembled everything and tested it out. you can use this same conversion process on the Athearn Blue box Gp7/9, GP35, F7A, GP38/38-2, and the GP59/60/60m and GP40/40-2. For the RTR line it would be the GP35, F7A, GP38/38-2, GP59/60/60m, GP40/40-2, and the F59PHI. I believe in the roundhouse kind you can use this same repower option for similar locomotives listed in the previous line ups.
