Elmers End is a relatively small station on the Hayes branch in south London served by Southeastern and the Trams. During the day, a northbound train stops here for London Charing Cross every 15 minutes, and the southbounds to Hayes tend to meet the opposing trains here. Despite not being on a main line, Southeastern runs a variety of their fleet through Elmers End, including classes 376, 465, 466, and 707. All of these trains except the 707s are quite old and tired on the inside which make them not very enjoyable to ride. But from a spotter’s perspective, they all have character!
