One of the most iconic landmarks of an ancient architectural masterpiece is situated here named 'Lalu Babur paka'. This broken huge palace home that is standing today as a sacred place of many history. The artifacts that we find over here of ancient works is unparalleled.
Everywhere in the cracks of the house the tree trunks that have been born are wreaking havoc in the deep of this building.Although the house is almost in a state of disrepair, it seems that one time the situation was completely different.
Durga Mandir:
There is a Durga Mandap inside of this palace. Infront of it the huge brick mausoleum is there which carries the identity of various sculptures.
Apart from this, there is living rooms, indoor palace, culinary place and an wall-mounted open space for visitors to sit in front of Durga pavilion.
But all that has passed down the coast of the past today.
It is said that this huge palace was residence of famous musician Romapati Bandyopadhyay. His wife Karunamoyi Devi was also a musician. Romapati was the son of Babu Ganga Vishnu Bandyopadhyay and his grandfather was Ramsundar Bandyopadhyay.
Romapati was employed at Raj State of Bardwan king and later he was appointed at poet and musician in his court.
Near the house, Ramapati Bandyopadhyay's mausoleum was situated but now lost in coast of times, but it is possible to mention that the renovation of temple is clearly visible in it's Cornish.
The smell of a mystery around the house is a mark of antiquity which gives rise to a feeling of how many witnesses of history, how many names of unknown people's glory are standing in the memory of this ancient fragmented building in which a strange thrill floats in the mind. In a word, unparalleled is unparalleled.
On one side of the house there is a temple of God Damodar Giu, infront of building house there is a large tree, The beauty of everything attracts the travel fans.
A short distance away from this large palace a pond is there known as "Zahora pukur". Can be heard that King Second Chandraketu excaveted this Pond. Name of this pond kept on his daughter's name 'Zahora'.
Upon hearing the message of Kalapahar, Royal people drowned in the water of this pond to complete the Zahar vow and the women make conch sound to give the ominous message to all and after this they used to throw the conch in the pond. So today the conch is available from the pond.
