The Holy Spirit - A Gift From The Father To His Sons

The need for the Rest. It's importance and what stops a person from experience it.
Hebrews 3 : 17 - 4 : 10

Jude 1 : 1 -
Salvation begins when we are delivered from darkness and ends in the completion of our destinies in the Kingdom of God. So if a person is being delivered from darkness and does not allow the delivery to complete, they are still lost.
Earnestly contend for the faith since it's the foundation of our faith and we are surrounded by creeping men to contaminate and compromise it.
"brute beasts" - the deprave nature of man contrary to the nature of man as God intended.
Verse 7 - curses to those who choose to disobey and follow those who have crept in and such as happened to Cain, Balaam and Korah will be their portion and even worse.
Build up yourself: Praying in the Holy Spirit.

Is The Holy Spirit A Gift?
The giver gives.
The receiver receives.

Receiving a gift is receiving the giver.

The giver may either have a purpose or a motive for giving a gift.
God has a purpose.

Eternal life is a gift
Wisdom is gift.
Knowledge is a gift.
The Kingdom is a gift.

John 3 : 22 - 34 ( God does not give the Spirit by measure. )
John 7 : 1 - 2 , 37 - 39 (Out of the heart of the person who believes in Him shall flow rivers of living water - The Holy Spirit)
