"Pinch analysis is key to optimizing industrial processes and energy systems for greater efficiency and profitability. The method has proved to be a valuable practical tool for analyzing the energy use of industrial companies and to determine cost-effective measures. In this presentation the method will be explained along with a practical example demonstrated using the PinCH software. In addition, latest developments in applied research in pinch analysis and its industrial application are to be presented. The benefits and opportunities of pinch analysis will also be highlighted."
