After installing a hydraulic handbrake in my BMW E46 and unplugging the ABS module, my stock speedometer stopped working. So in this episode, I fixed that issue by installing a GPS speedometer straight into the original cluster — using a budget-friendly unit from AliExpress.
This is a simple and clean solution if you’re running without ABS or need an alternative speed source. I’ll show you how I fit it into the OEM cluster, wire it up, and how it performs on the road.
