The Daily was invited to review Pacific Northwest Ballet's brand-new production of The Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
Zsilas Michael Hughes (as Fairy Carabosse) performs in the final dress rehearsal on Jan. 30, 2025 at McCaw Hall in the Seattle Center. This is a brief video of her entrance with the unique "rat-choreography" mentioned on our website.
Choreographed by Marius Petipa with costumes designed by Paul Tazewell (Hamilton, Wicked), the world premiere occurred on Jan. 31, 2025.
