The video depicts the trial of a mock trial case by the students who were members of the 2013-2014 QCC Mock Trial team. The case, The State of Midlands v. Whit Bowman is the mock trial case that was used in the American Mock Trial Association 2013-2014 national tournament. The defendant Whit Bowman is charged with armed robbery. In the video, students act as lawyers and witnesses. The students make opening and closing statements and engage in direct examination and cross-examination. Twelve students were selected to serve as a jury, which reaches a verdict at the end of the trial.
