Clash at North Ridge – Turan Sci-fi Train

This damaged Hornby Eurostar train has been converted into a science-fiction train for my layout called Clash at North Ridge (see other videos). It had missing windows, scratched body, a damaged middle bogie, and the pantographs were destroyed.
My other sic-fi trains are festooned with guns and armour, so I wanted this one sleek and fast, streamlined with wings. It goes fast too, as you will see in the final minute of video.
I used three 99p set of lights. The Front is an Xmas decoration that changes colour, so I put that in the cab. 10 LEDs were used to light up the two coaches and the battery pack sits inside the coach nicely. Finally a small torch with 6 LEDs was stippled over with think red acrylic paint and this forms the engine glow.
Thanks go to my railway club for donating this model. It now has a special new lease of life on 'Clash'. It took three days to make.
