The Boologanathar Temple:
Boologanathar Temple: Boologanathar Temple built by Rajendra Cholan!
Here we will see about Cuddalore Bhoologanathar and Venkatajalapathi Temple.
Bhuloka Nathar Temple is located at the beginning of Nellikuppam border, 9 km from Cuddalore bus station. This temple is about a thousand years old and was built by Rajendra Chola.
This Bhulokanath temple is uniquely situated to symbolize the excellence of human birth. Shiva and Venkatajalapathi can be worshiped at the same place in this temple, signifying that Hari and Shiva are one.
As Bhulokanath is the lord of the soil, it is believed that any problems related to the soil will be solved easily if you take the soil to this temple and worship it. It is also said that if the puja is performed here, the building will be cured, regardless of the construction works that are obstructed.
Those who want to build a house say that if they pray by placing stones in this temple, they will get the blessing of building a house immediately. Devotees who come here see Sorna Vinayaka at Kannimula and Lord Muruga along with Muthukumaraswamy Valli Deivanai in Varshabhaka.
In the Vayu region, Vishnu depicts Durga in a kolam standing on a lotus flower. In this temple, you can have darshan of all the 9 towers at one place. Dakshinamurthy towards the south and Navagraha in the eastern part.
There are nine shrines of Navagragam Kala Bhairava, Balamurugan, Chandikeswarar. Although there are many special events throughout the year, Aadi month Thirukalyanam is critical. The Natyanjali held every month is a sight to behold for the devotees. Natyanjali and parivar murthys street procession on Maha Shivratri in the month of Puratasi are popular six time pujas.

A Hindu temple, or Devasthana or mandir or pura or koil or kovil in various languages, is a house, seat and body of divinity for Hindus. It is a structure designed to bring human beings and gods together through worship, sacrifice, and devotion. The symbolism and structure of a Hindu temple are rooted in Vedic traditions, deploying circles and squares. It also represents recursion and the representation of the equivalence of the macrocosm and the microcosm by astronomical numbers, and by "specific alignments related to the geography of the place and the presumed linkages of the deity and the patron". A temple incorporates all elements of the Hindu cosmos — presenting the good, the evil and the human, as well as the elements of the Hindu sense of cyclic time and the essence of life — symbolically presenting dharma, artha, kama, moksha, and karma.
The spiritual principles symbolically represented in Hindu temples are given in the ancient Sanskrit texts of India (for example, the Vedas and Upanishads), while their structural rules are described in various ancient Sanskrit treatises on architecture (Bṛhat Saṃhitā, Vāstu Śāstras). The layout, the motifs, the plan and the building process recite ancient rituals, geometric symbolisms, and reflect beliefs and values innate within various schools of Hinduism. A Hindu temple is a spiritual destination for many Hindus, as well as landmarks around which ancient arts, community celebrations and economy have flourished.
