Extremely well working history rich rimfire beautiful Swiss Crafton Vetterli.
Everything works as it should! Reliable and robust!
The barrel is in extremely good condition!
This is the first mass produced repeating rifle in the world! When everyone else was playing with muskets Swiss were shooting rifles with a mag of 12 bullets.
This was also used in Finlands the civil war of 1918
They sent with SS John Grafton boat 15,500 rifles and 2.5 million bullets 2500 officer revolvers and 3 tonns of explosives. The ships route was compromised so they managed to unload a fraction of the load.
They blew up the rest in the fear of the reds finding them. And they did.
After a like 2 years they had shipped from Switzerland a few more Vetterli for backup.
