One Wednesday night at 10pm, they got a call that DHS was bringing a child who needed a safe place...and they were bringing his sister as well. Little did they know, that little boy and his sister had two brothers who were in need of a safe place. Fast forward just over two years and the Ahrens went from a family of 2 to a family of 6.
