The UN International Day of Older People is observed annually on the 1 October. This year’s theme is Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being, Our Rights.
This organisational collaboration looks at the role of intergenerational connection and programs to address social isolation and loneliness for older people.
An intergenerational panel shares their insights and experiences to address ageism and increasing social connections, and the role of the Elder in First Nations communities.
