 Everything, in the Universe is made of matter.
 Matter is arranged in different ways, to form different materials.
 Materials are used to make products, that help us to live our lives.
 Matter is made of, atoms.
 Atoms are made of sub-atomic particles.
 The protons and neutrons make up the nucleus of the atom.
 The electrons orbit the atom.
 Atoms can join to make molecules.
 The three states of matter, are solid, liquid and gas.
 When heated, matter changes from solid, to liquid, and to gas.
 When cooled, matter changes from gas, to liquid, and to solid.
 In a solid state, the parts are close together and move very slowly.
 In a liquid state of matter, the parts are further apart and move
more quickly.
 In a gas state of matter, the parts are far from each other and move
very quickly.
