You can trek to Himlung base camp 4830m and back to Phu the same day or spend a night at base camp. I did the trek from Phu Gaon (4070m) to Himlung Himal 4830m in April 2022.

After crossing the Phu Khola I looked back at Tibetan-style mud and stone houses of Phu Gaon
