The film was produced by Studio Ghibli, and tells the story of two sisters who move to the country side to be near their sick mother, they soon find themselves having adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby. The music was composed by the great Joe Hisaishi.

My wife use to watch My Neighbor Totoro as a child and introduced me to this wonderful movie and music and I am forever grateful.
