The Anaconda remake gets a new update from Paul Rudd and Jack Black, who unite for a video to reveal the film's release date. Released in 1997, Anaconda follows a National Geographic film crew as they are forced to work with an obsessed hunter to capture the world's largest snake. A sequel was released in 2004, followed by new installments in 2008 and 2009. After the franchise lay dormant for 15 years, it was confirmed this August that a comedic Anaconda remake is on the way from director Tom Gormican, with Black, Rudd, and Daniela Melchior all set to star.

Sony now shares a new video featuring Rudd and Black on the Anaconda remake's tropical-looking set, with the pair revealing that the film will hit theaters Christmas 2025. Though there's some confusion over whether the movie will be called "Anaconda" or "The Anaconda," Black does promise that "there's gonna be a big snake."
