This week my boyfriend and I went to a tequila tasting at the Penn Club of New York for the brand El Tequileño. It was wonderful to learn about how the same family has run the distillery and stood by the integrity of their recipe and brand. I got rubber soles placed on my Gucci loafers and went to a pub for some good wings and soda. I closed out my week with a beautiful trip to Long Island to visit my best friend and visit her new puppy. This week had me reflecting on the power of community and the importance of friendship, family, and chosen family.
