One phone call changed everything. When Waco’s only Asian grocery store closed, it threatened cultural festivals and community connections, but it also sparked a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Guided by the principle Ichi-go Ichi-e, the Asian Leaders Network embraced the moment, transforming conversations into connection, festivals, and a growing nonprofit that celebrates culture and community in Waco.
