Product Info:
Kids can build and experiment with K'NEX building pieces through the K'NEX Education STEM Explorations Levers and Pulleys building set. It comes with 139 pieces, including K'NEX rods and connectors, for building three different models one at a time and then performing different experiments with each model.

The main model is a balance, which is a first class lever. Not only do the instructions show you how to build it, but they explain what this type of lever is and how it is used. Then, kids experiment with the balance to gain a more hands-on understanding of how levers work. (Additional supplies listed in the instructions will be needed for the experiment.)

When you're done with the balance, rebuild it into a wheelbarrow or a sailboat. Building instructions and experiments for those two models are found online at the K'NEX website.
