This ancient Indian temple was built WITHOUT any binding agent! Still, it has been standing strong for over a thousand years.
The Brihadisvara Temple was built in the 11th century by Raja Raja Chola I. Perfectly carved granite stones interlock with each other, creating a majestic vimana (tower) that soars an impressive 217 feet towards the sky.
The sheer volume of granite used, some weighing tons, was transported over 50 miles without modern machinery.
Today, the Brihadisvara Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a place of worship teeming with daily rituals and ceremonies. It's a powerful symbol of India's rich heritage and a reminder of the incredible feats humans can achieve when driven by faith and innovation.
