Did you know that several real artist are working at Naturalis Biodiversity Center? One of them is Esmee Winkel. She is a scientific illustrator, focusing on botanical illustrations. Our researchers ask her on a daily basis to make drawings of new species. These illustrations are then used in reserarch papers. We are in love with the clear and detailed drawings of Esmee!
