I’m working on cleaning up and improving a small creek on my land – better access, better habitat for wildlife.
To get there, I need to remove trees and brush I already cut down, which means getting my old logging trailer with a winch crane back into action.
It hasn’t been used in 7–8 years, since I installed geothermal heating. In this video I fix the PTO shaft, check the winch, repair the hydraulics for the crane swing, and finally put it to work pulling out 3-meter firewood and limbing a spruce right by the creek.
